I was born in Atlanta, the youngest of six children in a large family. I spent a significant portion of my childhood traveling and living in Central Asia, specifically Pakistan and Uzbekistan. I was homeschooled. I am an officer in the Civil Air Patrol which is the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. As a cadet I served in many positions including cadet commander of my squadron.
Other interests include soccer, ultimate Frisbee, water sports, and running. I co-host an online radio program and enjoy public speaking. I currently participate in the Air Force ROTC program at Georgia Tech and hope to become an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
I am a full-time student and Political Science major at Georgia State University.
